The input video codecs that SlideShare supports are as follows:

    • VP8, VP7, VP6, VP5, VP4, VP3
    • MPEG-4 ASP, DivX, XviD
    • MPEG-1, MPEG-2
    • H.263, H.263+, Flash Video
    • Windows Media Video 7, 8, and 9 (WMV1, WMV2, WMV3)
    • Apple ProRes 422
    • Real Video
    • YUV
    • Schroedinger, Dirac
    • Sorenson, Cinepack, RPZA, Indeo, MJPEG
    • AVI


The input audio codecs that SlideShare supports are as follows:

    • MP3
    • AAC
    • WMA
    • WAV
    • AC3/DTS
    • RealAudio
    • Ogg Vorbis, Speex, FLAC
    • AMR-NB, AMR-WB


Some known unsupported codecs are given below:

    • Apple Intermediate
    • HDV 720p60
    • ProRes 4444
    • Go2Meeting3 (G2M3)
