Why do I get an error message when re-uploading my SlideShare?

You may be encountering file replacement issues for the following reasons:

  • Our file conversion tool may be facing a temporary problem; try uploading again in 15-30 minutes
  • Check if the file is password protected, encrypted or contains macros. If it does, remove these and try uploading again
  • If you were uploading a raw file (ppt, pptx, odp, etc.), we could have had issues converting it due to complexities in the file.Try saving the file as a PDF and re-uploading. PDFs are usually less complex and easier to convert
