Can I resize the SlideShare presentation that I am embedding in my blog? The default size is too wide for my blog layout.

Yes, you can resize the embedded presentation. We give different sizes that you can choose from. Just select the size that fits into your blog, copy the embed code, and paste it. See screenshot below:
