I pasted the embed code into my blog but the slides are not showing up. What do I do?

Our embed code works with all standard blogging platforms (Blogger, Wordpress, Typepad, Tumblr, Posterous etc). In case the embedding does not work (you are seeing only the links, but not the player with the slides), try troubleshooting with the options below:
- This occurs due to the type of editor being used in the blog. Most blogging platforms have either a visual editor or a HTML editor. The default is usually visual editor, though you can typically choose this in your blog settings. Sometimes, when you embed the SlideShare code in the visual editor, it will strip out the relevant code. In which case, on publishing you will see only the links, but not the slides player. You can resolve this by switching to the HTML editor, pasting the SlideShare embed code and then publishing.
- Sometimes the entire embed code fails to get copied. Try copy/pasting once again.
- There was an error while editing the embed code; try copy/pasting once again and be careful while editing the code.
- If the presentation that was embedded in your blog gets deleted or removed from SlideShare, the embedded content will stop working.Confirm that the content that you are embedding still exists on SlideShare.

I must be doing something wrong. I've done everything I can think of to get your embed code to work. I don't have problems embedding YouTube videos, but your code I can't get to work.
Here is what I've done so far:
Used both Wordpress embed code and your longer code offered for all embeds.
Pasted into the post directly, and used the "add video" box.
I've repeated every alternative several times. I'm not able to get anything except a hotlink that delivers an error.
I also am having this problem (or a similar issue) with the embed code, after trying similar solutions....I get a warning message saying "slide did not convert properly, so we cannot play this file"....it views perfectly in SlideShare but not in WordPress.com....does someone know why?
I'jm using the <iframe> embed and everything works fine on desktop and Android devices but the embed returns a 404 on iPhone and iPad. It shows the mobile version as expected but the presentation returns a 404 error.
